Day 2 What to Blog About?

Today we will discuss blog concepts. When deciding what to blog about there are a couple of things you should keep in mind.

1. Interest: You have a whole world of ideas and topics to choose from, pick one that reflects your personal interests and passions. This will make blogging twice a week easier and it might even be fun.
2. Topic: Once you've figured out your interests and passions it's time to figure out what topics they fall under. Do you like one specific thing passionately like music? Or do you like lots of different things equally like fashion, food and events? You might want to focus on a niche or go broad and do a lifestyle blog. 

Class Work

1. Surf for 3 blogs you like. Why do you like them?
2. Finalize your blog concept.
3. Discuss a "Class Blog"
1. What should it be about?
2. What should it be called?
3. Posting calendar.
